All prospective members, including family members age 18 and over, must register online and pay a non-refundable $50 application fee. Once this fee is paid, you will be placed on the waiting list to attend an Orientation Meeting at our Outdoor Range. It could take anywhere from 2-8 weeks to receive an invitation, based on the length of our waiting list.
We charge a one-time $650 joining fee, along with prorated dues for the remainder of our fiscal year. Our fiscal year runs from April 1st - March 31st and annual dues are currently $300. Therefore, prorated dues are calculated at $25 per month, from the month you join through the next March. We collect these fees at the Orientation Meeting, and you are welcome to pay them by cash, check or credit card.
Secondary Members (spouses and family members age 18-23 living in the same residence) are only required to pay the $50 application fee. Prospective Secondary Members must register online and pay the non-refundable $50 just like Primary Members. They must also go through the same conditional requirements to become a full member as Primary Members. The only difference is that Secondary Members do not have to pay a Joining Fee or Annual Dues.
Invitations are sent to each individual prospective member and are valid for one person only. Family members may not attend an Orientation Meeting with the Primary Member unless they have registered online, paid their $50 application fee and received their own invitation. Family members are not linked to the Primary Member when they register online. We link them at the Orientation Meeting.
Once you are invited to an Orientation Meeting and you confirm you will attend, you will be sent a link to have a background check performed by an independent agency. It is your responsibility to submit your confidential information to that agency. All members must have a clean background to be a Member of CRPC.
