




STEEL TARGET QAULIFICATION FOR THE MULTI-PURPOSE RANGE
Purpose for class:
If you would like to check out and shoot the Clubs steel, on the combat range at closer that 30 yards. Then you need to take this class. You need to have passed Pistol Qualification before taking
this class.
This is not a required class for shooting steel targets provided on the Rifle and Plinking Ranges.
Class:
This is a rules class that will teach you all the rules for shooting steel on the combat range at closer than 30 yards. The class will run about 30-40 Min and will go over rules and how to set up of the steel and how to shoot the steel.
"You do not have to shoot in this class if you do not want to."
If you would like to shoot you will need to bring: Eyes, Ears & a hat. (Also no open toed shoes in the class)
Fee:
There is a one time $20 fee for this class. (This money goes to buy more steel and to repair the steel we already have)
After:
After the class you will get a sticker so you can check out the clubs steel and shoot it when ever you would like.

STEEL REACTIVE TARGETS: SAFETY AND USE
FIREARMS SAFETY RULES
- Treat all firearms as though they are loaded.
- Keep your finger outside the trigger guard until you are on target and have decided to fire.
- Point the muzzle in a safe direction at all times.
- Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
STEEL TARGET SAFETY RULES
- Shooters and observers must always wear hearing protection and wrap-around shatter resistant eye protection
- Shooters and observers must wear a cap or hat with a brim, and closed toed shoes.
- Always stand at least 10 yards from the target when shooting at any steel.v
- All targets will be set up at the berm or as close as possible.
- Never shoot BB?s, steel shot, or air gun pellets at steel targets.
- Never shoot the steel targets on this Range with a Rifle Caliber.
- Targets should be placed with a 3 foot lateral and deep offset from the adjacent target.v
- If shooting multiple targets, angle of engagement should not exceed 20 degrees
- When done shooting put everything back where you got it and Police the range for all duds, fired cases and debris.
